Rotary Club Donates to Public Safety

The Wauconda Rotary Club has once again sponsored a very important public safety initiative by donating $1,000 to the Wauconda community to purchase fire hydrant markers. These markers are a great asset to the Fire District when they need to quickly locate the nearest fire hydrant in an emergency, especially during the winter when snow can make hydrants difficult to see.

The Village extends their sincere thanks to the Rotary Club for their generous donation investing in our community's safety.

I like the idea and the website is fairly easy to use. I do wish that they would review more than the top 20 or so websites in the field. The web is a big place.
