Sharp Auto Body Teams Up With Pink Heals

Back in September, Sharp Auto Body was asked to paint a red fire engine pink for a non-profit organization called "Pink Heals".  Pink Heals supports young women who are recovering from breast cancer treatment.  Sharp was happy to donate their time & labor to painting the truck.

The materials were generously donated by Sharp Auto Body's paint supplier Metro Paint.

This truck travels to different events.  Anybody who has survived breast cancer, currently living with breast cancer, or had a family member die of breast cancer can sign their name on the truck. "This cause has really touched the hearts of those at Sharp Auto Body," said Louie Sharp, owner of Sharp Auto Body.

Originally, Steve Rusin approached Sharp to help with this project.  "He was kind enough to share with us how the program works and how it helps so many people."

Sharp wanted to give more to the cause so they can make a bigger difference.  So during the month of October, in order to help support the cause, Sharp Auto Body donated 100% of ALL of their $19.95 Saturday morning Ultimate Car Washes (Exterior Hand Car Wash, Window Cleaning & Interior Vacuuming) in October to "Pink Heals".  And people from all around came out for a car wash and to help support a great cause.
