Video Script:On the evening of Saturday, January 7, Fox Lake resident packed the
American Legion Hall on Rt. 12 in Fox Lake to cheer on their favorite wrestlers
of POWW Entertainment. Doors opened at 6 p.m. and the bell rang at 7 p.m..
Wauconda Junior Ms. 6th Grade Lady Bulldogs found themselves taking on the Round
lake rams in a weekend tournament and lost 27- 21 This is one of their first
conference losses.
The 6th Grade Lady Bulldogs are 11-2 in the putting them in second place overall
in their division
Winter hit in full force Friday night. Snow came down fast and heavy, but fell
short of the six inches called for by local forecast. This was enough to bring
out the Village Snow plows and salt trucks. Tempuratures plunged the following
day to the very low teens
It seemed to take a little longer for residents to pull down the holiday lights
this year, Many residents went all out for the Christmas and new Year season. A
great year for holiday cheer around town
