The Youth Group at the Federated Church of Wauconda has been very busy.  Full of
energy and enthusiasm, the Holiday Season was brimming with opportunities for
them to shine.  They not only helped receive food  for the church’s annual
Thanksgiving dinner, they also helped with clean-up. Many came to help with the
"hanging of the greens" to beautify the church for the holidays.  Some were
greeters with Pastor Ryan at the Christmas Bazaar, and also helped in other
areas where they were needed.  They had a great time Christmas caroling in
Wauconda and Island Lake.  When the seniors had their Christmas party, the Youth
Group member greeted them at the door, took and hung up their coats, served
drinks, and then helped with the clean-up.  They are currently working on fixing
up the game room and are reading the book, "No Longer A Stray" - a book about a
puppy who meets Jesus.  This is a great bunch of kids that we are all very proud
of!
