Messiah ELC's Pastor Hass Retires

Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wauconda, regrets to announce the retirement of Pastor Dawn Hass. A reception was held for Pastor Hass recently.

Pastor Hass was called by Messiah as Pastor of Spirituality in January 2009. Previously, as a volunteer, she founded and directed Messiah’s Spirituality Center. She also began and led the H.O.P.E. Grief Support Group. She was the pastoral leader of Messiah’s newly formed Unity in Christ Ministry, which seeks to provide education on human sexuality issues, and support for Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender individuals.
