Messiah starts up Adult Forums on Sexuality

Sunday, February 12, during the 9am adult education hour, Messiah ELC will begin their series of weekly discussions of the scientific, theological, social and ethical issues around same-sex relationships.

Following the mandate of the 2009 congregational resolution to prayerfully and intentionally discern the Spirit on this matter, their pastors and lay volunteers have been working to line up a knowledgeable and diverse schedule of speakers who can address different aspects of the issue from various points of view.

Everyone is welcome and highly encouraged to participate.

Messiah ELC is, however, asking everyone who wishes to share their views in the forums to commit to attending throughout the series, so everyone has the chance to hear and be heard equally.
