SLATE TO ENTER VILLAGE OF WAUCONDA APRIL 2009 ELECTIONS
Wauconda United is pleased to announce a TEAM of professional, experienced, and dedicated candidates for the April 7, 2009 Village of Wauconda elections. Our TEAM of candidates includes Mark F. Knigge for Mayor, Ginger Irwin for Clerk, Lincoln F. Knight to continue as Trustee, John F. Barbini for Trustee, and Pam Wahl for Trustee.
Mayoral Candidate Mark F. Knigge: retired from Abbott Laboratories, currently serving as Village of Wauconda Trustee, President of the Lions Club, past Wauconda Park District Board member and also serving in many other community service organizations
Village Clerk Candidate Ginger Irwin: employed by the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL) working with partially sighted and blind students, board member of the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association, member of the Wauconda Lions Club
Trustee Candidate John F. Barbini: retired School Superintendent, Wauconda School District 118. Currently working as a consultant for the Lake County Regional Office of Education, past president of the Wauconda Rotary Club, member of the Wauconda American Legion Post 911
Trustee Candidate Lincoln F. Knight: currently serving as Village of Wauconda Trustee, past Park District Board member and President, past President and member of the Wauconda Area Youth Soccer Club, member of the Wauconda Lions Club
Trustee Candidate Pam Wahl: Administrative Assistant at Robert Crown School,
Wauconda School District 118, member of the Wauconda School District PTO,
Member of the Wauconda Educational Support Staff Association
