DOCKS ON THE ROCKS – Your New Caribbean Destination
Join Docks Bar and Grill as they celebrate the Grand Opening of DOCKS ON THE ROCKS, Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 1-5 pm. You can come by boat from Bangs Lake or by car on Route 176 to 313 E. Liberty Street in Wauconda. Just be sure to come for the fun!
Mr. Myers will set the mood with their personal style of Caribbean Rock, an infusion of calypso and ska set to the rhythms of reggae and sprinkled with an edge of rock and roll that carries everyone like a soft wave on the beach into a carefree mood. Band Leader Todd Donnelly combines the members’ immersion in jazz, rock, world and classical music with authentic steel drums, steel pans, rock guitars, percussion and sax for a sound parrot heads and those looking for a “no worries” atmosphere are sure to enjoy.
DOCKS ON THE ROCKS is Docks Bar and Grill’s new 6,600 sq ft deck offering panoramic views of Bangs Lake. Destruction of the old deck began April 20th of this year. One would have thought Lankford Constructions workers were with the post office from their dedication to working through wind and rain to get the deck done on time. The deck features a 40’x15’ Tiki Bar and tables at which Docks full line up of great food, martinis, tropical drinks and wine are available whenever the restaurant is open this season.
BAGGO anyone? DOCKS ON THE ROCKS sports a game area featuring this upwardly competitive twist on the old bean bag game that is fun for adults and families. Fun in the sun with team and singles competition.
